Thursday night marked the premiere of ABC's new summer show Greatest Hits, which features artists of the past and present performing the songs that defined the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Each show will focus on a different half-decade of music.
In an episode devoted to hits from 1980-1985, singer Jason Derulo paid tribute to Michael Jackson with a slick performance of the song "Human Nature" that had the crowd cheering and singing along.
While rocking the King of Pop's iconic socks-and-loafers combo paired with a mohawk, Jason made sure to incorporate plenty of Jackson's classic dance moves into his performance. Yes, that includes the moonwalk. No Michael Jackson tribute would be complete without it, after all.
It's easy to see why Jason is a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance.' He can definitely move.
This tribute is just the beginning. Greatest Hits has even more nostalgic performances in the line-up for this season, including a Destiny's Child tribute by Fifth Harmony and even a duet from the Backstreet Boys and Meghan Trainor. We couldn't ask for a better soundtrack to the summer.
