It's back to school season, which means teachers are once again doing their best to keep students motivated and inspired to learn, whether that means embracing individual creativity or sharing words of encouragement when things get stressful.

One teacher in Japan has a pretty spectacular way of getting his students' attention. The walls of his classroom are already papered with colorful art, but he frequently adds one more masterpiece to the mix by drawing detailed illustrations on the chalkboard. What you or I might see as a place to scrawl math equations or play hangman, he sees as the perfect canvas.

The teacher, who goes by hamacream on Twitter, has recreated several classic works by the likes of Picasso and da Vinci, not to mention the requisite Disney drawing. The level of detail is so amazing, we would never want to erase anything. Thankfully, the artist documents his beautiful creations on social media, so they're not gone forever.

People really started paying attention to hamacream's work when he shared his colorful chalk art depicting characters in a popular new anime film called Your Name. The work, which was requested by a student, has earned more than 50,000 retweets. It's so vibrant, we almost expect it to start moving.
