Remember when Steve Harvey crowned the wrong Miss Universe? #Oops.
In case you missed it, the awards show host originally crowned Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, as Miss Universe on live television. Shortly thereafter, Harvey realized he had announced the wrong winner. Gutierrez was, in fact, the runner-up.
So, at the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, Jane Lynch and Thomas Lennon helped Gutierrez get a little bit of revenge in a live skit.
"This year, People's Choice Awards has picked one entertainer who, for whatever reason, has never won a People's Choice Award, but who we believe is deserving of one," Lynch said onstage.
Then, Lynch announced Lennon as the "winner" and the actor took to the stage for a speech. A few seconds later, Lynch announced that she'd made a mistake.
"The winner is Miss Colombia!" Lynch said. "Give it up, pal," she added, looking at Lennon with his jaw to the floor.
And with that, a Miss Colombia look-alike accepted the award. It was an epic, hilarious way to share a few laughs over the whole situation.

Update: The original article stated that Gutierrez herself accepted the People's Choice Award. The updated version reflects that the skit featured a Miss Colombia look-alike.
