Watch Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, And Steve Martin Crash James Franco's 'SNL' Monologue

You never know who's going to be in the audience.

This weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live saw James Franco celebrating his fourth time hosting with some help from musical guest SZA, and some not-so-helpful heckling from members of the Studio 8H audience. As Franco explained during his monologue, SNL writers are nearly as excited for a fourth-time host as they are for a fifth-timer and sent him out to open the show by taking questions from the audience. What Franco was also not prepared for were some pretty pointed statements from three surprise ticket holders for the show: Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Steve Martin

After a semi-rough start with the question "What time is it?" Franco calls on a second audience member who just happens to be sitting directly in front of Rogen. Even with some quick dodging of the camera, Franco spots Rogen, who informs him that he didn't realize his frequent collaborator was hosting and is "just there to see the show in general." Luckily, though, the woman sitting next to Rogen has a question for the host, even though she isn't given the chance to ask it herself.

"This woman here has a question," Rogen says in the sketch while raising the arm of the audience member next to him. "She wants to know how come you've hosted four times and Seth Rogen has only hosted twice?"

Rogen is later joined by Hill, who is both late to the show and quick to also point out that Rogen has only hosted twice, and Martin, who wants to make sure Franco knows that even multi-time SNL hosts don't get to stay the center of attention.
