576 Man-Hours Went Into Creating This Mind-Blowing One Second GIF

Most insane.

It all starts in sunny Rio.

Meet INSA, an anonymous artist from London.

"I'm fascinated with the idea of creating art from space," INSA explains.

"I'm gonna create four paintings in four days on Earth."

"And photograph each painting from a satellite in space, but then turn those four images into one second GIF."

The work begins.

First, INSA etches all the guidelines on the ground.

And gets a local crew to help him paint.

Ta-da! The result of the first day's work as seen from space.

Day two. Still going strong!

Painting the yellow stripes pink and the pink stripes yellow.

Game on, day three!

Pink turns yellow and yellow turns pink.

The last day begins.

INSA's advice? "Never [be] afraid to experiment. Don't be afraid to push an idea. Don't be afraid to explore it."

We couldn't agree more. Make sure to watch the entire video below to see the actual GIF in all its glory.

It's nothing like we've seen before.
