This Summer's I Love The '90s Is The Nostalgia Tour To End Them All

Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa, and Biz Markie, just to start.

Although the look and feel of the decade might seem ancient, the '90s weren't all that long ago. People love indulging their most intense nostalgic desires even if they call back to recent times, though, as evidenced by Nickelodeon's revival of All That, Hey Arnold!, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and just about everything that aired on its network at the end of the 20th century.

The reunion/revival trend is just as strong, if not stronger, in the music world, where legendary acts frequently join the summer festival circuit years after disbanding. Now, with I Love the '90s, a huge sampling of artists is taking their hits on the road together. It started out with a few sold-out shows earlier this year, but now Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, Biz Markie, and many more are participating in a 29-city tour through the country. Each show will feature a rotating roster of additional '90s mainstays, such as All-4-One, Coolio, and Color Me Badd.

Feeling a little rusty on your '90s music? Here's a refresher.

Salt-N-Pepa's eternal banger, "Push It":

Vanilla Ice's not-at-all-stolen-from-Queen hit, "Ice Ice Baby":

Biz Markie's nonstop catchy "Just a Friend":

When asked how the first few shows went, Cheryl "Salt" James, now 50, told USA Today she was initially surprised by the strong positive reaction, but was understandably happy. "It feels like you're taking people back to a time in their lives that they really enjoyed. It's just one big '90s party."

As for what they plan to play this summer? "Obviously all the classics," she said without a beat. So if you've been living in the '90s ever since they actually happened, you should be in good hands at any of the 29 shows. You can check out the full list and buy tickets here.
