The Love Between The Couple In These 13 Illustrations Is So Beautifully Drawn, It's Almost Palpable

South Korean artist finds inspiration for these drawings from her own relationship.

Kisses on the shoulder. Dancing in pajamas late at night. Cuddling up together during breakfast. These are the moments that inspire Hyocheon Jeong's stunning illustrations.

The 27-year-old South Korea artist captures beautiful moments of affection in her romantic illustrations. Her drawings show a couple falling deeper in love as they do everyday tasks such as brushing their teeth together, as well as more exciting things like taking a trip away, just the two of them. The illustrations radiate love and showcase moments of closeness between the couple. You can feel the connection between the couple just by looking at the drawings.

"The sources of my inspiration are always stories of people. Most of them are the stories of me and my boyfriend," Jeong told Bored Panda. "I also get my ideas from the conversation with my friends."

These intimate moments will feel familiar to anyone who's ever been in love and will surely conjure up some sweet memories. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention how Jeong's technique and style really make these drawings one of a kind. Her soft color palettes and great attention to detail help to set the scene of each illustration. We have a very clear picture of where these characters are and what they're interested in, in addition to the affection they're showing each other in each illustration. Because of this, Jeong's artworks tell us a story that our imaginations can run with off the page.
