The months between now and the moment we can finally enjoy the last Hunger Games film are slowly but surely ticking away. Soon, we'll barely be able to remember a time when we all hadn't yet seen Katniss' final showdown with the Capital. But until Thanksgiving, the franchise is happy to drop hints and teasers like bread crumbs. And we are happy to snatch them up. In the latest teaser for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2, Katniss stands before us, wearing a new red outfit, cape whipping in the wind, steely look in her eyes. As the camera pans back, we realize she's standing on a giant statue of a hand displaying the Mockingjay symbol.
The short clip doesn't include much else, except for a slogan which appears at the top of the screen: "Unite D13: The Revolution Is About All Of Us." Well, we're ready to join up. At the very end of the 43-second spot, the teaser tells us to "stand by for another message from District 13." Guess we should expect another breadcrumb sometime soon.
The entire teaser is shot to look like a propaganda film, like the kind Katniss filmed in Mockingjay — Part 1. Could we see her cool red uniform show up in the final movie or is this clip just a red herring? Just four more months, people. Just four more months.
After releasing the teaser on Jennifer Lawrence's Facebook page, the film's official Twitter account posted this image of Katniss sans cape, but wearing the same intriguing outfit.
