Hugh Jackman is often referred to as "the nicest bad guy in Hollywood."
This is so for a reason. This Australian hunk gained international recognition for his roles of bad*ss superheroes, but in real life he's just a rugby-loving family man, heavily involved in philanthropic work.
And we have a video that reminds us all what a great guy Hugh Jackman is.
Just recently he did something very special for one of his little Australian fans.
Nine-year-old Domenic was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that most commonly affect lungs. The Make-A-WIsh Foundation, a nonprofit that arranges experiences for kids with life-threatening medical conditions, put him in touch with KIIS 1065, a Sydney radio station, because he's a huge of Wolverine.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, young man, but Wolverine would be the best one, right?" one of the radio hosts asks Domenic about superheroes.
"Yeah," Domenic answers, like it was the most obvious thing ever. "He has claws. And whenever he dies he can heal ... I really like it that he can heal."
"Do you want us to get Hugh Jackman on the phone?" the hosts ask the boy.
"Yeah. That'd be awesome," the kid can barely contain his excitement.
Domenic has no idea that Hugh Jackman is actually right in another room ...
"Hi, Hugh Jackman!" Dominic goes. "What's your favorite Wolverine action pose?"
"Oh, my favorite Wolverine action pose ... That's cool ... Can you hang on a sec?" Jackman asks.
Shut the front door.
The kid's reaction is simply the cutest. We're trying to not cry.
