In today's coffee world, a good cappuccino can go a long way. But usually, you never get to see how your talented barista puts it all together.
VICE's Munchies got a behind the scenes look at how 2010 Barista World Champion Michael Phillips makes the perfect cappuccino. He revealed many of his secrets, but kept the artfulness of the craft close to the vest.
"There is a lot to be said about this (latte art) and it takes some baristas a lifetime to learn really well," Phillips said. "So I'm not going to try and describe it to you too much, I'm just going to show it to you and act like it's a mystical talent only professionals can develop after years of practice."
