Is there anyone who doesn't love the thrill of an epic horror film? Or the laughs that come along with a terribly bad one?
Some of the best (and worst) horror films utilize the jump scare scene. You know, when the eerie music plays, the tension builds, and then all of a sudden something pops out of nowhere and makes you jump in your seat.
The whole experience can be seriously stressful, but in a good way. It's otherwise known as eustress. Eustress is a positive form of short-term stress that is thought to be beneficial for the person experiencing it. It often leaves people feeling excited.
To help elicit some more eustress in your life, we've uncovered a nine-minute video that we think will do the trick. The video — courtesy of YouTube channel Burger Fiction — is a supercut of scare scenes from beloved horror flicks. The entire time aims to make you jolt.
Think you can make it through the whole thing without getting scared?
