Norway's Hans Olav Slettebø Stuns With Adele Cover

Gorgeous rendition of "When We Were Young."

If there's one thing that almost everyone can agree upon in the highly contentious atmosphere of 2015, it's that Adele's hotly anticipated album 25, was well worth the wait. Not only did the British singer take us to new levels of ecstasy, she also opened the door for stunning covers that came from places as far apart as South Korea and Germany, as well as some closer to our New York City offices.

But this cover of "When We Were Young" is something really unique. It comes from Hans Olav Slettebø, a 21-year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Seljord, Norway.

Slettebø's beautifully stripped-down version was recorded in a single takem and the sparse production  highlights the natural beauty of his voice. He's also covered dozens of other artists, including Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, and One Direction.

But it's with this Adele cover that he really soars. Listen for yourself.
