34,000 feet in the air, Pilot Eric Greener proposed to his girlfriend.
Greener, got on the loudspeaker and began addressing his girlfriend/flight attendant, Brandy Hollenbeck.
"About two and a half years ago, my parents came to visit," Greener says in a YouTube video. "And I picked them up at the airport... and all my mother could talk about was this wonderful fight attendant she had met."
Three months later, Greener met that very flight attendant, and the two hit it off.
"And I met the woman of my dreams at 34,000 feet so I figured it's time to continue our lives at 34,000 feet."
"Flight attendants have a reputation for not listening to the pilot when they make an announcement," Hollenbeck told The Huffington Post. "I was serving coffee and the pilot got on and started making an announcement. And then he was like, 'While I have your attention, let me tell you a little story.' In my head I was like, 'Wow, this is really nice. I love when they tell stories. They don't do this anymore.' I start to hear the part about the double cheeseburger, and I was like, 'This is my love story!'"
Then, Greener asked her to marry him, and the plane broke out in applause.
"She said yes!"
According to Alaska Airlines' blog, one frequent flyer on board said they'd never seen anything like this.
