He Couldn't Be At Her Wedding, So He Gives The Most Touching Toast Over The Phone

WHERE are the tissues.

In a heartwarming video by One Fine Day Productions, a bride celebrates her wedding at a beautiful reception.

But one thing was missing: her grandparents.

But as the first speaker begins her toast, she explains, teary-eyed, that she has some pretty special advice for the bride and groom, Pacia and Jon.

"I've decided that I'm going to give you... marriage advice. But what makes this a little bit different is I have actually gathered advice from some people you may know... married 66 years," she says. "So I called Granddad to ask him for some advice and words of wisdom for today."

Here we go...

Because her grandparent's could not be there for her special day, Pacia's grandfather surprised her by calling in and giving the most touching speech.

"Well, you know, [we] wish you many happy years to come, but the world has an awful lot to offer if you just take the time to smell the coffee," he says.

Though he admit's it sounds cliché, he knows it to be true thanks to 70 years of experience.

And after some more heartfelt sentiments, he jokes: so, "Is there any questions you'd like to ask?"

"There will be ups and downs and trials and tribulations and as you smile," the bride's grandfather summarizes. "When things work out, that's in the end what makes the joy."

And there's not a dry eye in sight.
