7-Year-Old With Alopecia Wins 'Crazy Hair' Day At School, Wowing Everyone With Her Magical Look

"This is a great way for her to feel like she was just one of the crowd."

Gianessa Vinanti Wride has alopecia, an autoimmune condition where the body mistakenly attacks hair follicles resulting in hair loss. She went from having long hair that went down her back to no hair in a matter of 20 days after her hair began to thin last year.

But she wasn't going to let this stop her from celebrating her school's Crazy Hair Day.

The 7-year-old turned herself into a unicorn for a previous Crazy Hair Day and she loves to play around with fashion. So when it came time for the event, she wanted to be involved.

Gianessa's mom, Daniella Vinanti, decorated her daughter's head with stickers so she could participate in the event. And the finished style was pretty magical.

Vinanti explained to BuzzFeed that she got the idea for the dazzling do after she came across some scrap booking stickers while out shopping. "The [stickers] were jewel-toned and extremely sparkly, which fit her personality perfectly," said the mom, "She chose the main design and I applied it to her head. She just wants to be treated like every other kid, she wants to have fun and fit in. She loves Crazy Hair Day and this is a great way for her to feel like she was just one of the crowd."

After Vinanti shared the photos of her daughter's amazing Crazy Hair Day creation on social media, they have gone viral thanks to how cool they look, and the positive message they represent.

One person wrote on Facebook, "So beautiful! So brave! This is a stronger example of loving yourself than we see from most adult women! What an amazing child! Good job mom!"

People are also commenting on the different photos of Gianessa embracing her style with different accessories, even when it is not Crazy Hair Day.

One Instagram commenter wrote how the posts are helping her son with alopecia become more confident. "She is beautiful and has encouraged my son to shave his head, which he's really been struggling with," she stated.

And while the positive reactions on social media are brilliant, some exciting stuff also happened at Gianessa's school, according to Teen Vogue.

Gianessa ended up winning the best look in her class on Crazy Hair Day.

Gianessa's school has also reportedly tweaked the name of the fun school day so it's now the more inclusive "Crazy Head Day."
