This Model Recreated Gigi Hadid's Recent Nude Campaign To Make An Important Point About Body Positivity

"We are all beautiful and unique in our own ways."

In recent years, the fashion industry has taken meaningful steps to promote inclusivity and diversity on the runway, behind the scenes, and in print.

Often, however, the "ideal body" aesthetic still prevails, especially in nude photoshoots, like the recent one featuring supermodel Gigi Hadid. To show a different, perhaps rounder, side of the same coin, curvy model Diana Sirokai recreated Hadid's pose in an image posted to her Instagram.

Wearing nothing but booties, the 21-year-old Hungarian model captioned the post, “I was just wondering how a Model My Size would look on this.”

While concise, her caption choice speaks volumes. Rather than taking down Hadid — who has spoken out against body-shamers in the past, Sirokai added her voice to the ever-evolving conversation about what it means to be "beautiful." The stunning pictures — of both women — proved beauty knows no bounds.

One commenter noted, "Both are absolutely beautiful! I feel like there needs to be more diversity not just one!" Another said, "It's important to love YOUR body, not to wish it looked like someone else's. ❤ The journey to self-love is the most important one you'll ever find yourself on." Nearly 24,000 people seem to agree, having liked Sirokai's now viral photograph.

This isn't the first time Sirokai has used her platform to promote body positivity and inclusivity. In a 2017 interview with Yahoo Lifestyle after Sirokai did her own take on a Kim Kardashian swim photo shoot, Sirokai told the publication, "I hope to inspire all types of women because we all need support... Because we are no different. We are all beautiful and unique in our own ways."
