On Valentine's Day, seeing women (and men) walking around with a bouquet of flowers is inevitable. We get it. They're easy gifts and we're trained to think girls + flowers = happiness.
Though that may be true, this year, we dare you to dream outside of the box for your significant other. But do not fret, we won't leave you out to dry. We asked women of all ages what they'd like to get for Valentine's Day besides flowers, and below is a few of the things they said. Not so surprisingly, spending quality time with you and other gifts that don't cost money were common themes.
Now go get 'em!
A steak dinner.
That's how you know it's love.
Or pizza and beer works, too.
Books of her favorite genre.
Chocolate, but in donut form.
Tickets to see the "50 Shades Of Gray" movie.
A Visa gift card to comp three month's worth of birth control.
A movie marathon night.
A day snowboarding together or learning something new.
A weekend or day trip somewhere fun.
Disney is easy enough, right?
A day at the spa. (Read: a massage.)
A sweet, handmade card.
A love letter — or two.
A mix CD, because #oldschool.
A coupon book, but for sexy time.
A cool piece of jewelery.
A scrapbook with both of your favorite photos together.
A rainy day jar filled with love quotes, things you love about them or activities to do together.
Plain old quality time.
