This New Music Video Will Take You On A Trippy Ride Through Augmented Reality

It's pretty cool.

Some musicians are happy with a straightforward music video where they only have to perform, but others, such as Flock of Dimes, take it to the next level.

Flock of Dimes is a solo project by Jenn Wasner, singer and lead guitarist for another band called Wye Oak. She recently released a music video for her song "Everything is Happening Today," a song off of her new album If You See Me, Say Yes.

Wasner teamed up with Endless Endless — the "combined creative output" of Sara Padgett Heathcott and Adam Heathcott — for the short clip's visuals.

Throughout the music video for "Everything is Happening Today," the audience is taken on an augmented reality journey as Wasner sings, has multiple clones by her side, and eventually get taken through what looks like a kaleidoscope of images.

The song takes an artistic backseat as the switch between different shapes, patterns, and bursts of color are the forefront of this trippy yet innovative video.
