Last November, the first official trailer for Pixar's upcoming Finding Dory dropped, hinting that the plot will center on Dory's search for her long-lost family. Now there's a new full-length trailer to confirm that notion, plus much, much more.
Lasting roughly two and a half minutes, the video starts out with a young Dory wandering around after losing her parents, then fast-forwards to a post-Finding Nemo time where she gets captured and brought to the Marine Life Institute. Marlin and Nemo have to find a way to get her out, and along the way they all make new friends and reconnect with old ones such as Crush the sea turtle. Overall it seems very similar to the original storyline, but that's far and away one of the best films Pixar has ever made, so one has to believe the sequel will live up to the same standard if it's getting made at all.
Regardless, hopefully the world's clownfish population won't be affected when Finding Dory hits theaters June 17.
