You have to spend money to make money. Nobody knows it better than Evan Wondolowski, a Boston-based artist who uses dollars bills to create jaw-dropping celebrity portraits.
Wondolowski says he's been obsessed with money for as long as he can remember. He's been buying packs of shredded currency on eBay for about $50.
One of Wondolowski's portraits features President Barack Obama, made from coins.
"I pick those up in bulk at the bank. You should see the looks on the tellers faces when I ask for my paycheck in nickels!" he told A+.
The Obama piece is the most expensive portrait Wondolowski has for sale right now. It costs $5,000.
For basketball star Dennis Rodman's portrait, Wondolowski used North Korean notes. He bought them on eBay, but had to shred them himself.
Wondolowski says that he chooses his subjects based on their relationship with money.
"Today, the culture of the whole world revolves around money. In many ways, our relationship with money defines who we are," he told A+.
Take a look at the making-of Wondolowski's impressively detailed "money art."
