Football player Eric LeGrand is continuing to make big strides in his recovery from a 2010 spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed.
Even though he was unable to lift his arm when he was carted off the gridiron that day while playing for Rutgers, LeGrand never stopped believing that he would one day get better.
One look at his Instagram and you can see how he has remained positive during times of uncertainty.
In fact, he has taken his injury and turned into a vessel to tell people that things aren't always as bad as they seem. Everyday is simply a reminder that as long as you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
Just look at this video with the caption, "Getting my dj'ing skills up now lol."
It is truly amazing and mesmerizing to see that he has continued to persevere in the face of doubt.
He's also been able to make friends with some pretty awesome people along the way like Lil Wayne and Stephen Curry who always instill a sense of encouragement in him.
Although the injury was devastating, LeGrand maintains that maybe he wouldn't have been able to do all of things he has accomplished in recent years, like attending the ESPYS.
Just a few days ago, LeGrand released another video, this time of him moving his arm with just the help of a sling.
LeGrand's positive personality and the undying support of the people around him have clearly been key ingredients to his progress.
To see how one man can overcome so much gives us all hope that we too can overcome the obstacles in our way.
Even though it is only a 15-second clip, you can feel every ounce of his dedication and hard work each time he swings his arm back and forth with a huge smile on his face.
We will always keep an eye out on LeGrand and hope to one day see him walk out of that therapy session and back onto the football field.
