After They Found Out Their Surrogate Was Having Triplets Instead Of One Baby, Ellen Surprised Them With Something Else

"Their surrogate was pregnant with not one, not two, but three babies."

"My amazing friends Justin and Adam have always wanted a family and this year, they got the surprise of a lifetime when they found out their surrogate was pregnant with not one, not two, but three babies," Ellen DeGeneres reads from a letter sent in to The Ellen Show.

With that, Ellen invites audience members Justin and Adam to the stage, two dads who welcomed their three children earlier this year.

Justin and Adam explain to Ellen that they've always wanted to be dads, joking, "We tried for years to have babies, but it didn't work." So, they chose surrogacy to start their family. The couple explain they saved up for one child, but when their surrogate unexpectedly had triplets, they were met with additional costs they weren't prepared for.  Because hundreds of diapers aren't free.

After hearing their story, Ellen surprises them by covering the cost of all future diapers, as well as a stroller for triplets and a $10,000 from Shutterfly to help the family continue making memories.

It's a beautiful moment for a very well-deserving family. Be sure to watch it in full below:
