For those of us who are too busy or just plain too scared to visit a haunted house this Halloween, the next best option is watching other people's spooky adventures from the safety of our couches — preferably with candy in hand.
Earlier this month we saw Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Hart scream their way through Blood Manor in New York City. This week, Ellen DeGeneres (dressed in a spot-on Sia costume) sent her show's executive producer Andy Lassner to the American Horror Story maze at Universal Studios' Halloween horror nights. The host seems to have made it bit of an Ellen Show mission to get Andy out of his comfort zone, with frequently hilarious results.
Fortunately, she didn't send him in alone. Ariana Grande tagged along this time to provide moral support, which basically meant standing in front of Andy as they rounded each corner. As we've come to expect over the past few years, the producer had several stern and colorful words for the characters who jumped out at him, so get ready to hear a lot of bleeping.
When it was all over, Andy had a message for Ellen: "This is the last year we're doing it." Hmm, something tells us that won't be case.
