"The haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate / Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake," the lyrics of Taylor Swift's pop hit goes.
And Dylan, aka "Red Headed Persian Entertainer," a 7-year-old from Kansas, showed us all exactly how this needs to be done back in August. His dance tribute to Taylor right from his living room quickly went viral and was watched more than 6 million times.
This boy has some serious skills. There's no denying.
So it comes as no surprise that this little nugget brought his brilliant dance moves from his living room to The Ellen Show for a live performance a couple of days ago.
Needless to say, he absolutely nailed it. Just watch him.
"That was amazing," Ellen told him after his performance. "You didn't choreograph it, it's different every time. You just feel it. ... OK, so you love Taylor Swift. She's gonna be in Kansas City, I think next week probably. So we're going to give you tickets and hopefully send you backstage."
Well, Taylor shared the following video on her Instagram accounts just hours ago and we're watching it on repeat.
"Finally got to meet Dylan, the 7-year-old who passionately danced to Shake It Off on Ellen — and this happened," she wrote.
Yep. The two of them are absolutely shaking it off.
From dancing in his living room just months back to boogying backstage with Taylor Swift herself. Don't let the haters stop you. Truly, this boy is an inspiration to all of us.
