The 2015 NFL season officially kicks off Sept. 10, when the Steelers face off against the Patriots. Football is by far the most popular sport in America, so even though the season only lasts for five months, it's basically a yearlong hype engine and it's reaching a crescendo as we hit the homestretch before meaningful games finally start.
The above video is unique proof of that, displaying Seattle from overhead in a video captured by a drone. Notable landmarks such as the Space Needle and CenturyLink Field are decked out in Seattle Seahawks colors and "12" signs, referring to the popular marketing campaign and notion that Seattle fans are the team's collective 12th man.
Everyone who likes football and isn't a Seahawks fan pretty much hates the team, but there's no arguing that it has a great fan base. Whether it's out of admiration or disgust, peep the video and get yourself pumped for football. It's back.
