Drake Saw A Man Groping Women At A Concert, So He Stopped The Show To Put An End To It

"Yo, stop that ..."

If you're a man at a Drake concert and you're thinking about inappropriately touching a woman standing near you, think again. Just last night the rapper brought an after-party event to a screeching halt to address sexual assault happening that he could apparently see from the stage.

The 31-year-old rapper-singer was in the middle of performing his song "Know Yourself," clearly vibing along with the audience. Then, all of a sudden, Drake stopped going along with the music to address one concertgoer at the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia. Pausing the show was clearly no stress for the performer, who viewed a fan's safety as priority — much like Lady Gaga recently did for an injured fan.

"Yo, stop that shit. If you don't stop touching girls, I'm gonna come out there and fuck you up," Drake is heard telling the man in social media video of the incident, looking as if he might leap off the stage and handle the situation himself. "I'm not playing with you. If you don't stop putting your hands on girls, I'm gonna come out there and fuck your ass up."

The audience cheers Drake for saying this and having a zero-tolerance policy against this sort of harassment — the opposite circumstance of when fans didn't like someone groping Harry Styles. Luckily, security swoops in to save the day and ejects the groper from the crowd. It appears Drake waits until the scene has returned to normal before continuing on with the set.

We're not condoning violence of any kind — or even threats of it — but we do have to commend Drake for standing up for women and not letting sexual assault happen in front of him. Men need to police each other more to help combat this epidemic that plagues every industry. Clubs, festivals, and bars are usually tight quarters and a little wild — but there is no excuse for this kind of unwanted touching.

As if Drake wasn't already our dream bae...
