Drake And Rihanna Pay Tribute To Their Most Loving Fan OVO Megan

"She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life!"

Back in March, Drake and Rihanna met a very special fan by the name of Megan.

Dubbed OVO Megan, so she was officially part of the crew, the "Work" duo met the loving 14-year-old cancer patient backstage in Miami.

As Make-A-Wish explained after the meeting, "Megan is battling cancer and is no longer responding to treatment," and "She wished to meet her favorite singer."

It wasn't long before this legendary meet-up went viral.

However, some sad news has come in as MTV reports  Megan passed away today, on Saturday, July 9. She was suffering from progressive metastatic sarcoma, which causes tumors to arise in one's body, particularly in the lower extremities.

After learning of her passing, both Drake and Rihanna took to Instagram to pay tribute to their most loving fan.

Drizzy wrote a touching note, saying, "Rest in peace my angel. I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime. @ovomegann 🙏🏼"

Rihanna reminisced about how she used to slide in Megan's DM's all the time when she needed a smile.

She wrote, "I had the pleasure of meeting an angel on Earth! After my show in Miami, @champagnepapi introduced me to Megan! She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life! So fearless and kind! It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!! There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!!"
