Absolutely Wicked DIY Glow-In-The-Dark Wooden Shelves

Shut up and take my money!

A few days back, skillful jeweler Matt Brown posted his ingenious idea for a set of resin inlaid chestnut shelves to Reddit.

His unusual decision ended up in a jaw-dropping effect no regular furniture has seen.

Brown owned a big piece of chestnut that was pretty cracked and pitted.

He decided to fill in the cracks with resin inlay, normally used for an "invisible" repair. But Brown gave it a twist...

He mixed resin with some glow-in-the-dark powder.

Pour it in and wait...for some 3 days or more.

The result: amazing shelves with a pinch of color. Ordinary by day, look what happens to them when it gets darker...

The resin starts glowing and creates a totally magical effect on your shelves.
