Lots of people are afraid of sharks, but often this fear originates in media hype and movies that give sharks a bad rap, like "Deep Blue Sea" and "Jaws."
For the most part sharks, if not threatened, have no interest in harming humans.
In fact, a disturbing infographic by Upworthy shows sharks kill only 12 people per year, while humans kill 11,417 sharks per hour as a result of unsustainable finning.
But if that statistic doesn't change your mind about sharks, just look at the way they react to this diver.
The sharks seem docile as they line up waiting to be pet.
They are clearly lovin' the attention.
It almost looks like this one is wagging its tail like a happy dog.
