For a team that hasn't won a championship in more than a century, the Chicago Cubs have extremely high expectations this year. They have a solid pitching rotation and batting lineup to go with an appearance in the NLCS in last year's playoffs, to be sure, but many are already picking them to win the World Series come this fall. Adding more pressure onto what's already accumulated in the team and fans' minds since 1908 probably isn't the best idea.
Regardless of whether that actually happens, though, at least one little Cubs fan will love the players no matter what, especially her dad. Center fielder Dexter Fowler's daughter, Naya, has apparently been watching the Cubs on TV as they've started the season on a six-game road swing. Every time she sees her pops on the screen, she goes wild, as documented by her mom, Darya Aliya Fowler.
That she's staying up this late to watch baseball is probably going to mess with the ever-crucial nap schedule, but real fans make real sacrifices. And Naya is clearly the realest fan of her dad.
