Supermodel Denise Bidot Is So Proud Of Her Body That She Didn’t Even Bother With Photoshop

"If you feel good, you look good."

Denise Bidot is at it again.

The plus-size supermodel is so confident in her curvaceous frame and showing off her body by embracing her stretch marks and cellulite in unretouched photos that it's difficult not to want to be on her team.

The bodacious beauty appears in Target's new swimwear campaign rocking a trendy two-piece with her natural body on full display — no Photoshop, no filter.

"I love that they didn't retouch the pictures, it's very empowering not just to me but for everyone," Bidot told A Plus. "If we truly accept and love who we are, nothing can stop us."

And nothing has stopped the half-Puerto Rican, half-Kuwaiti beauty from becoming one of the leading faces in the body-positive movement. In fact, aside from the beautiful Target ad and other similar projects she's been involved in, Bidot launched her own movement last year, No Wrong Way, and focuses on building a community where women, men, teens, and members of the LGBTQ community would all feel welcome and accepted just the way they are.

"I have always been a passionate activist on body positivity and seeing change and diversity in the fashion industry," she said. "It's great to see Target and other brands finally getting it, and being more proactive in showing women in their most natural state through these campaigns."

Bidot's confidence is undeniable and infectious. She doesn't only talk the talk about body positivity, she walks the walk, literally. And when Target customers see her latest ad with the global brand, it will surely make them stop in their tracks and stare.

"I really love this campaign and I am so proud to be a part of it," she said. "The images have gotten such a wonderful response because they are transparent in their appeal and have such a simple message: if you feel good, you look good."

So how can someone obtain Bidot's sense of pride and love for the skin they're in?

"Self-love is a journey. We are all trying out best every day, and some days will be better than others," she confessed. "So no matter what kind of day you are having, tell yourself something kind and know that you have everything you will ever need inside you."
