Day To Night Dressing To Make You And Your World A Better One

Recycling pieces for more than one use.

When it comes to picking out an outfit in the morning, one of the best things you can do is choose key pieces that can easily transition from day to night.

Not only does this help alleviate stress, but recycling and re-wearing your favorite pieces is an excellent way to reduce the number of unnecessary items in your closet and, more importantly, help out the environment.

Like we've said before, the fashion industry is one of the planet's top polluters — and recycling your clothes is just one of the many ways you can cut down on consumption. So, you can buy less, spend less, and help the world, all by finding ways to make the clothes you already own more versatile — easy as pie!

That said, we've chosen a slip dress, a wrap skirt, and a bomber jacket as some of our favorite staples and bases for two different looks. When choosing your complete ensembles, keep in mind the items you already have in your closet to help accessorize and make each look your own.

Slip dress:

The on-trend slip dress is ideal for day-to-night dressing, considering it's lightweight qualities and highly versatile styling options. Wear it over a simple white t-shirt with a neck scarf and white sneakers for lunch with friends and then ditch the tee for a night on the town. To complete the nighttime look, we've opted for white mules, an embellished bag, and a dark lip.

Wrap skirt:

Get the most out of your wrap skirt by pairing it with a white off-the-shoulder top for the daytime and a black cami at night. In the case below, keep the same sandal on all day long and switch daytime studs to a sophisticated drop earring set.

Bomber jacket:

Wear a lightweight bomber jacket with matching denim and booties for a day in the city. For a trendy dinner look, pair it with a neutral jumpsuit and gold jewelry before heading out. Voila!

Enjoy your day ... and your night!
