Dad Turns Daughter's Absurd Sayings Into Wacky Illustrations

"Oh, I didn't pray to God. I prayed to Elsa."

Kids say the darndest things.

Now, one dad, Martin Bruckner, is turning his daughter, Harper Grace's, hilarious statements into works of art — illustrating them for a project he calls Spaghetti Toes

According to The Huffington Post, the project all started when Martin's wife, Michelle, said to Harper: "Please don't put spaghetti between your toes." Later, Martin says he realized how often he and his family said "absurd, hilarious, and gross things" to each other.

Since starting the project, Martin shares his work on Tumblr, Facebook, and the Spaghetti Toes website.

"Pretty much the first day I started the Facebook and Tumblr pages, I had parents replying to me with the things their children say to them," he tells the publication.

In one of his works, Martin illustrates a conversation he shared with Harper with regards to the snow:

"Dad, it worked! It worked! I prayed sooo hard for a snowstorm, so that you could stay home with us today!" Harper says.

"That's so nice of you honey, but maybe not the best thing to pray to God for," Martin replies.

"Oh, I didn't pray to God. I prayed to Elsa," Harper says.

Touché, Harper. Touché.
