Update: Ben Patterson posted an update to his Facebook page clarifying "that while the rest of the story is true, the part about the police coming and the breathalyzer was just something I added for dramatic effect for my wife in the moment."
If you think you're having the worst day ever, just hold on a moment.
One dad by the name of Ben Patterson has a story to top your bad day.
It all starts when his son, Declan, threw up in the car on the way home.
Panicked, Ben tries to text his wife Stephanie, but to no avail.
You're on your own, Ben.
If the vomit wasn't bad enough, Ben writes "It smells SO BAD," and actually begins vomiting himself.
Now, not only is he throwing up on a random woman's lawn, he alleged that the cops had shown up, "for dramatic effect for my wife."
That didn't get a response or stop his son from continuing to throw up, though. Or get the vomit — which, according to him, smells like "rotting whale blubber" — cleaned up.
And Stephanie has still yet to respond, even though it shows she saw the message.
However, Ben still has to get home. Oh, and sorry, we have no idea what Declan could have eaten.
All the best, Ben, we feel for you. Hopefully you had a nice, tall drink when you got home.
We hope Stephanie finally got back to you. Read his story below:
