This Father Dressed His Daughter For Day Care, And Missed A Few Important Things

"I gotta plead ignorance here."

Having a baby is a learning process: You're constantly discovering what foods your little one likes and doesn't like, you have to figure out how to communicate with them, and you have to try and convince him or her to get some sleep.

Jeremy Basso, a father from Indiana, discovered that he still has some things to learn on the baby clothing front. Basso was in charge of getting his 7-month-old daughter Olivia ready for day care in the morning, and he missed some important pieces.

He sent Olivia to day care with no shirt on.

Jeremy's wife, Brooke Hawley-Basso, wrote about the daddy wardrobe fail on Facebook and posted a photo of Olivia in overalls with no shirt underneath.

Basso decided to plead ignorance about the situation.

Olivia's photo has been making its way around the web. It has been shared over 30,000 times on Facebook.

Users are also writing about their own daddy wardrobe fails. One mom wrote, "So once after work, my hubs dropped our one-year-old off to me wearing this weird beige robe. I had no clue where it came from and she had it on with nothing but leggings. It was open in the front, no buttons or ties. I asked [my husband], 'What is this?' He said, 'It was on Seth's (her older brother) bed. It was soft. I put it on her.' I said, 'THIS CAME OFF OF HIS STUFFED YODA!' He took her to the grocery before dropping her off to me....wearing a Yoda robe."

Another Facebook user revealed, "I went out for a girls' night when our daughter was a baby, and my husband put Build-a-Bear clothes on the baby. I could see the hole where the tail of the stuffed animal was supposed to go."

Clearly, Basso is not alone.

They say you have to do something once so you don't make the mistake again. Basso and the other dads have probably learned about how to dress their babies for the next time. They may not have got it 100 percent right initially, but they did succeed in giving everyone a chuckle.
