The blogger has built up an impressive following on social media thanks to her flawless makeup tutorials and demos on different ways to tie a hijab. She has over 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel and 304,000 followers on Instagram.
Afiia joins brand ambassadors Sofia Vergara, Katy Perry, James Charles, along with DJ, actress and model, Amy Pham, and Sugar Symphony YouTubers Chloe + Halle for CoverGirl's So Lashy! BlastPro Mascara #LashEquality campaign. Allure reports that the group will star in a commercial about the product which will air November 14.
