Yes, This Couple Did Get Married Underwater And Have The Coolest Photos To Prove It

Incredible.

Underwater would make a strange venue for a wedding ceremony, unless you're a professional diver, like 37-year-old Dorota Bankowska.

According to BBC, Bankowska married James Abbott in a 1.5 million litre seawater divers' training tank at The Underwater Centre, Fort William in Poland. And though they said their vows in the depths, they stuck wo tradition with a best man and maid of honor. Guests numbering about 100 watched from outside the tank.

"I wanted something unusual to make this day special," Bankowska told ABC news. "I also wanted to show my friends and family what I'm doing for a living."

If the photos below indicate anything, the wedding looks like quite it made quite a splash.
