Clemma and Sterling Elmore commemorated their 57 year wedding anniversary with a celebratory photoshoot in the style of Nicholas Sparks' romantic novel-turned-film, The Notebook

As one of Clemma Elmore's favorite movies, The Notebook was a fitting theme for the couple's photoshoot, planned by their granddaughter. "If you're a Notebook fan, then I'm a Notebook fan," Sterling Elmore might have said to his lovely wife.

Stacy Welch-Christ of Mary Evelyn Photography captured intimate moments between the couple inspired by classic scenes from the film. "They are the literal sweetest people on Earth," Welch-Christ told Tuscon News Now. "Anyone who knows them talks about what beautiful people they are."

Even those who've never met the couple can tell from their pictures.

Since Welch-Christ posted the photoshoot album to Facebook on September 3, it has been liked and shared more than 40,000 times total. Many have responded positively to the pictures, saying the couple's lifelong love has inspired them.

Of course, no 'Notebook'-themed photoshoot would be complete without an actual notebook.

The couple exchanged sweet, handwritten notes that said:

"You are my life and my true love. Love you always and forever. - Clemma"

"You are God's gift to me and I love you. - Sterling Elmore"

In the case of the Elmores' own timeless romance, art imitates life.

"When I met Sterling ... we knew we loved each other immediately," Clemma Elmore told the publication. "Sterling is the sweetest loving person I've ever met. We tell each other that we love each other at least 10 times a day and that is what I wanted. He said that when he saw me, he knew that I was the one."

Fifty-seven years of marriage don't seemed to have changed that. He still does.
