These Fascinating Colorized Photos Put History In A New Light

Time travel made easy.

Imagine if you could take black and white photos and restore them to their colorful states in which they were taken. That's what two artists did.

These amazing photos were posted on the incredible ColorizedHistory subreddit. They're are all black & white photos that have been painstakingly colorized by two artists whose work we found impeccable: Dana Keller, who moderates the subreddit, and Sanna Dullaway of Sweden, who founded and also moderates the subreddit.

We're pleased to offer you a sampling of their work here.
