Last December, Red Bull Media House and Matchstick Productions teamed up for the release of "Days of My Youth," a film shot over two years that, according to the filmmakers, sought to capture the "many joys and occasional struggles associated with a lifestyle built around skiing."
This clip from the film shows Santa Cruz, California's Cody Townsend dropping into a five-foot-wide crack in Alaska's Tordrillo mountains.
The footage shot from the air is unbelievable, but the footage captured on Townsend's GoPro is mind-blowing.
For this incredible feat of daring and athleticism, Townsend was honored with the "Best Line" prize at the 15th Annual Powder Awards.
Be right back, picking up our jaws from the floor.
