Model Chrissy Teigen is all about positive body image.
Did we also mention she and her crooner husband, John Legend, are hilarious?
Working in an industry infamous for its emphasis on thin, thin and thinner, Teigen has faced pressure to go along with the fixation on stick-thin female bodies.
But throughout the years, one client would tell the model: "Please don't lose weight."
In an interview with ELLE magazine, Teigen said that the publication Sports Illustrated pushing her to keep her curves was refreshing amid all the internal pressure to be stick thin.
"I've done six Sports Illustrated shoots, and every single time I get an email from them hoping that I haven't lost weight," she said. "It's such a cool thing, no other client has ever said that to me, like, 'Please don't lose weight.'"
With her svelte, slim body, Teigen told ELLE magazine that the curvy shape of her body wasn't thin enough for the fashion elite to consider her for their runways.
"To them I was a catalog girl or lingerie. I wasn't ever invited to walk in a New York Fashion Week fashion show," she said. "It wasn't something that ever crossed my mind, not just because of my size, but because of my height and everything, too."
But, really, it doesn't seem like Teigen gives a flip what they think. She's too busy trolling Instagram, hanging out with Legend and oozing confidence from every pore.
