Watch: Chris Rock, Terrence Howard And Lee Daniels Shoot 'Empire' Season 2 and Hang Out On Set

Just three months to go!

Empire's second season has just begun filming, but already things are getting out of hand. (On a show this packed with drama, what else do you expect?) Chris Rock, Terrence Howard and Lee Daniels joked around on Empire's set, and Daniels shared behind-the-scenes footage of their escapades on Instagram, along with photos of a new location: prison. Season 1 ended with Howard's Lucius Lyon behind bars, but the character is so crafty, fans weren't even sure he'd still be locked up when season 2 began. Now we know he's still safely stuck in jail when the new episodes start, along with a fellow inmate played by Chris Rock.

Season 2 is packed with even more guest stars than season 1. Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz have already announced that they will cameo, and more big names are sure to follow. Rock said that his experience on set has been "incredible," and complemented both Howard and Daniels. We'll have to wait and see if Lucius and Rock's character are allies or enemies when Empire picks up, and how long the comedian stays on the show (last season, many musicians and actors dropped in for just one episode).

Fans were also treated to a video of Daniels wrapping up the first day, as well as more footage of Rock in his orange uniform and photos of other extras from the prison scenes.
