Thor and Loki took a break from battling it out over Asgard and the mythical Mjolnir to bring some smiles to kids in Australia.
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston left the "Thor: Ragnarok" set and headed to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane on Tuesday.
Even though they were out of character, the kids still wouldn’t let Hiddleston get Thor’s hammer, posing for some funny pictures of them defeating the treasonous son of Asgard.
Hemsworth said the children are the “real superheroes of the world” and are an “inspiration” to us all.
Even though he wasn’t able to defeat Thor, Hiddleston said the experience was “unforgettable” across his social media platforms.
If one visit wasn’t enough, Hemsworth later returned to visit the families and kids who missed him the first time around.
In the past, other superheroes visited kids who needed a break from their everyday battle. Last year, Chris Evans visited kids in full costume.
Here’s to hoping that one day the Avengers will unite together yet again to visit a children’s hospital together. Now that would make for one great sequel.
