Even those of us with two left feet can be inspired to "shake our groove thang," so to speak, by the choreography and dance acts we see on screen. Some of these young talents gained national exposure on shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance, America's Got Talent, and Ellen, while others just made it big online. All of them are crazy impressive, though, as you'll see below.
1. Fik-Shun
You may know him by his stage name, Fik-Shun, or you may know him by his real name, Du-Shaunt Stegall. Or you may know this So You Think You Can Dance victor for his amazing hip-hop dance moves, which he recently demonstrated again on World of Dance.
2. Kyle Hanagami
Choreographer Kyle Hanagami's YouTube videos go viral on the regular — thanks to his incredible collaborations with dancing stars such as Haley Fitzgerald, and routines set to the music of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter, and Adele.
3. Nika Kljun
Choreographer Nika Kljun worked on the Ukrainian version of So You Think You Can Dance, but she's gaining traction stateside with YouTube dance routines to songs such as Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty," Sonny's "Cha Cha," and SR's "I Don't See 'Em."
4 & 5. Ashanti Ledo and Tricia Miranda
At the same dance complex, choreographers Ashanti Ledon and Tricia Miranda got a wide range of "Swalla" dancers to perform a hard-hitting hip-hop routine to the Jason Derulo hit.
6. Leo Costa
In Brazil, choreographer Leonardo "Leo" Costa is giving Hanagami a run for his money with routines set to tracks such as Missy Elliott's "I'm Better," and Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito." Check out the latter routine below.
7. Will “WilldaBeast” Adams
WilldaBeast has brought us some of the most awe-inspiring hip-hop routines, such as a rousing dance set to Beyoncé's "Formation" and a buoyant routine set to Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like." But he really wowed us when he showed off the amazing dance moves of a 15-year-old girl who has one arm.
8. Brinn Nicole
In a recent DanceOn video, choreographer Brinn Nicole defined "pumpfidence" with a sultry dance routine set to Camila Cabello's "Havana," and we imagine there are aerobic benefits of twerking in heels. (Still, those heels are sky-high, so you might want want to leave pumpfidence to the professionals.)
9. Yanis Marshall
Men can also dance in heels, of course, as choreographer Yanis Marshall proves with his routines set to Christina Aguilera's "Telepathy" and Ariana Grande's "Break Free."
10. Kione Iwasaki
Kione Iwasaki, age 20, earned standing ovations on So You Think You Can Dance with her amazing footwork and her inspirational story: She pursued dance after immigrating with her family from Japan to the United States because it was a way of expressing herself without language barriers.
11 & 12. Taylor Hatala and Kyndall Harris
After Taylor Hatala won YouTube viewers over with her "Anaconda" routine when she was only 11 years of age, she paired up with fellow pre-teen Kyndall Harris — and this dynamic duo has been dancing everywhere from a skate park to an auto repair garage (in a DanceOn video) to the Ellen stage.
13. Prodigy Dance Crew
Another dance act to storm The Ellen DeGeneres Show was the Prodigy Dance Crew. You might also recognize this Las Vegas-based team of dancers from their hip-hop routine to Rihanna's "Work."
14. Maddie Ziegler
No list of YouTube-worthy dance routines would be complete without a mention of Maddie Ziegler, who became a household name with her starring roles in multiple Sia music videos. But check out the DanceOn video in which she and a group of other young dancers tackle Brian Friedman's choreography to Little Mix's "Touch."
15. The Lab
The Lab blew Jennifer Lopez away on World of Dance, and it's easy to see why. The 10 dance crew members, including a Hawaiian girl who was just 9 years old when she competed on the show, move with incomprehensible precision.
