In fact, 19 of the eggs found were still wholly intact, which gives us hope that one day we can create a real-life Jurassic Park.

Although...

Scientists don't yet know what type of dinosaur eggs they are.

And honestly, we'd rather not hatch some crazy, carnivorous dinosaurs without knowing it. (We'd much prefer to hatch good ol' vegetarians.)

Scientists have also stated that the eggs are from the Cretaceous period, which makes them at least 65 million years old.

The city of Heyuan has unearthed 17,000 eggs since 1996.

According to the New York Daily News, that is a Guinness World Record.

The city even calls itself the "Home of Dinosaurs."
