Photographs Of Children As Old People Show 'Age Is Just A Mind-Set'

Age is all in the mind.

Imagine a 70-year-old suddenly getting decades younger, or a toddler getting decades older.

California-based photographer Zachary Scott of Sharpe & Associates visualized the hypothetical results in his creative photographs of geriatric toddlers.

The series was commissioned for a New York Times Magazine feature about age-reversing research titled "What if Age is Nothing but a Mind-Set?," and is adorably strange.

The effect of creating these "old children" or "young elderly folk" was accomplished by employing some prosthetic makeup, digital effects, props and retouching by Amy Dresser and Electric Art.
