Céline Dion has already released a new single just weeks after the August 26th release of her French-language album Encore un Soir. This time, however, it's in English — her last English-language album Loved Me Back to Life was released in 2013 — and written by none other than American songwriter and artist Pink

The song is called "Recovering." In a July Interview with EW.com, Dion said that Pink approached her after her husband, René Angélil, and her brother, Daniel, died two days apart. "(Pink is) a genuine person," Dion said, "and [it was] so generous of her to take the time to write a song for me during the most difficult time of mine. People have a tendency to send me really sad songs and we do want to sing the touching songs, but life is beautiful, and I really want to believe that René has a life after his life, that he doesn't suffer anymore."

Dion has kept up a busy schedule: in addition to writing, she continues to tour in support of Encore un Soir.
