When someone announces they think Twitter was designed specifically with them in mind, you know you're in for a good old-fashioned social media meltdown.
We're talking about none other than Mr. Kanye West.
Since creating an account back in 2010 that currently has more than 19 million followers, Kanye West has become somewhat of a Twitter icon. This title was mostly earned for his cryptic, touching, even absurd messages (see examples below).
Recognizing the prominence of West's Twitter presence, as well as the viral potential of celebrities reading tweets, Vanity Fair organized a little performance of their own.
At its Oscars after-party, Vanity Fair asked celebrities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Conan O'Brien, Kate Hudson, and others to dramatically recite some of Kanye's best Twitter lines.
