5 Celebrities Offer Advice To Their Younger Selves, And We Can All Learn From Their Lessons

Rashida Jones gets emotional just thinking about it.

While walking down the red carpet, Zendaya, Rashida Jones, Gwen Stefani, Simone Biles, and Rowan Blanchard were asked a very important — and even emotional — question.

In a video uploaded to Glamour magazine's YouTube channel, an interviewer asked the women, "What do you wish you could tell your 10-year-old self?"

Biles, Jones, and the rest of the group dish out advice regarding self-love and confidence as well as why it's important to appreciate the moment we're living in.

Check out all five of the women's answers below as well as the full video above.

1. Simone Biles: "I would just say don't let anyone tell you you can't do something because I think everyone has proven it wrong since then."

2. Zendaya: "To take your time and to enjoy every single moment as it comes. I think often we like to grow up too fast, and sometimes we just have to appreciate [and] enjoy the moment that we're living in."

3. Rashida Jones: "I would say hang in there ... you're fine the way you are. That you'll become the best version of yourself. 'Cause I think I was trying to be other people for so long, and it doesn't work. You can't do it."

4. Gwen Stefani: "I'm so grateful for the whole journey, and even for the tragedy part because I think that without that you don't grow... I'm awake."

5. Rowan Blanchard: "I would say to the younger version of me [to] always trust in your sisterhood because they know more than anybody else."
