When we first wrote about Calysta Bevier last October, we weren't just blown away by the Grand Rapids, Ohio, sophomore's incredible voice, but also by the strength, quiet grace, and courage she possessed on stage, singing Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" at a fundraiser for a pediatric cancer patient.

Bevier, who's been battling ovarian cancer since she was 15, later performed on The Ellen Show, where she was surprised by Rachel Platten who joined her on piano for a duet.

Last night, she appeared on the America's Got Talent, stage where she shyly revealed that she was a Stage 3 cancer survivor. She then told the judges that she "came (to the show) ... to show people that no matter what you've gone through to keep chasing your dreams."

She then proceeded to turn out the same kind of electrifying performance that gave us chills the first time.

Her chilling performance earned her accolades from the judges and the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.

"Calysta, I love everything about you," Simon Cowell said. "I've just got this really incredible feeling about you," adding, "If you get past this stage, I predict great things are going to happen for you. There's something about you."

After a pause, the normally stoic Cowell stood and said, "I'm sorry I've got to do this" and hit the Golden Buzzer, sending Bevier straight to the semifinals.

We're looking forward to even more from Calysta Bevier in the future. In the meantime, check her out on YouTube and Facebook.
